You are so right about that Jadey :-). I remember my sister flying in from the US to snorkel over the great barrier reef with Reg and me. She was very slim, slimmer than I want to be, and even in a wet suit she could not stay in the water, could not maintain her body heat.

As we travel north for winter, leaving before or as soon as the cold weather arrives down south, and plan to stay on the high side of a healthy-weight range, lol, :-), I should not have too much worry with the cold, personally.

I grew up without air conditioners, worked out of doors so much, still do as an en plein air artist, as long as I have shade and lots of water, I manage just fine :-) and too much indoors and air con and I might lose my tolerance for working out of doors. Mind you, even the traditional out doors workers, farmers, have air conditioned sealed cab tractors these days, so the old style of going without air conditioning is going out of vogue, not many still prefer it. I may have visitors arriving from WA so I'm going to get the air con fixe, more for thier comfort, than for mine though, I was quite happy sitting around enjoying the heat, in a sarong :-).
