I am so glad my man has sober good taste. For the past two years he has regularly been invited out fishing with two friendly local men. However observing the cans of beer that go into the house he was concerned that the day out fishing might be a day out boozing, and always declined.
Today one of them was caught drunk driving home from a fishing trip. He was unlicensed having lost the license for drunk driving before. While I am sorry this friendly man now faces a 3 month jail sentence, I'm not sorry such punishments exist for drunken control of a boat or car...it could have been someone I love  or you love, who was killed by them. Drunks on the road can kill.
I am proud of my man for saying NO to doing something he loves doing 'fishing,' because he had doubts about the sobriety of these 'nice' friendly men.
